JAMAICA, N.Y. — The New York Lottery announced that a top-prize winning ticket for the Oct. 27 TAKE 5 evening drawing was sold at a 7-Eleven located in JFK Airport’s Building 125 in Jamaica, Queens. The winning ticket is worth $28,448.
TAKE 5, a daily draw game with numbers selected from a field of 1 through 39, holds drawings twice daily at 2:30 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. Winning ticket holders have up to one year from the drawing date to claim their prize.
The JFK Airport win adds to the series of recent TAKE 5 payouts across New York, with lucky players claiming top prizes in locations from Buffalo to Newburgh in recent days.
