Legendary infernos draw huge crowd to toms river's shelter cove summer concert

TOMS RIVER, N.J. – Another large crowd turned out Tuesday night at Shelter Cove Beach as the Legendary Infernos took the stage during the Toms River Summer Concert Series presented by Mayor Daniel T. Rodrick and the Toms River Recreation Department.

Residents packed the waterfront venue, with many gathering on the beach while others watched from boats anchored in the nearby cove. Township officials shared photos and video from the event, highlighting the energetic atmosphere and strong community turnout.

Fans praise band’s performance

“We’re having a blast with the LEGENDARY INFERNOS on the Toms River Summer Concert Stage,” the township said in a social media post promoting the weekly concert series.

Attendees praised the performance throughout the evening. “Wow they were amazing, great friendly people, big crowd and an awesome band,” one concertgoer wrote, while another described it as a “great show tonight, huge crowd.” Others called the band “excellent” and said they planned to see them perform again.

The free concerts are held every Tuesday at 7 p.m. throughout the summer at Shelter Cove Beach and have become one of the township’s most popular seasonal attractions.

Fireworks return next week

The summer entertainment schedule continues Tuesday, July 21, with the Super 70s Rock Show beginning at 7 p.m., followed by a fireworks display.

The township’s family entertainment lineup also resumes Thursday with the Kids Concert Series, featuring Hamlin the Magician at 7 p.m. at Shelter Cove Beach.
