Foster homes sought to help four dogs transition to rescue care
Toms River, NJ – Animal advocates are asking the community to step forward with temporary foster homes for four dogs who are ready to move into rescue care with the help of local partners.
Friends of the Northern Ocean County Animal Facility announced that dogs named Onyx, Nala, Daisy, and Ella are in need of foster placement so they can be transferred to 501(c)(3) rescue organizations that are already prepared to assist. Volunteers said foster homes play a critical role in giving dogs a safe, calm environment while rescues work toward permanent adoption.

Those who foster are provided full support by the rescue organizations, including food, supplies, and coverage of medical expenses. Advocates say fostering offers a short-term commitment that can make a lasting difference for dogs waiting for their next chapter.
Rescue partners are standing by and can move forward once foster homes are secured. Individuals interested in fostering are encouraged to email kathleenfrett1@gmail.com to be connected with participating rescues.
Meanwhile, Ocean Township Steps Up Trash, Lawn and Property Enforcement Across Neighborhoods.

Community members who are unable to foster are asked to share the information to help reach potential foster families.
