WASHINGTON, D.C. — Detectives are investigating a homicide that occurred in Southeast Washington, D.C.
On Sunday, at approximately 2:49 p.m., officers responded to a reported shooting in the 2600 block of Stanton Road, Southeast. Upon arrival, they found an adult male inside an apartment suffering from gunshot wounds. DC Fire and EMS transported the victim to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead after lifesaving efforts failed.
The deceased has been identified as 27-year-old Stephon Clemmons, of no fixed address.

A reward of up to $25,000 is offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction of those responsible for any homicide in the District of Columbia.
