CHESAPEAKE, VA — Chesapeake Police responded to a call about an injured person on the 3200 block of American Legion Rd. at 10:24 p.m. on October 30. Upon arrival, officers discovered an adult male with a gunshot wound. The man was transported to a local hospital, sustaining injuries not deemed life-threatening.

The incident is currently under investigation. The police department stated that more details would be released as they become available.
