Police are searching for a suspect accused of entering a home through a bedroom window and exposing himself in front of an 8-year-old girl.
BRONX, N.Y. — An 8-year-old girl was awakened inside her Bronx home when a man allegedly climbed through her bedroom window and performed a lewd act before fleeing, according to the NYPD.
The incident occurred at approximately 5:11 a.m. on Monday, May 25, in the vicinity of De Reimer Avenue and Bussing Avenue.
Police said the child was sleeping in her residence when an unidentified individual forcibly entered through her bedroom window. The victim woke up to find the suspect exposing himself and engaging in a lewd act.
The suspect fled on foot, traveling eastbound on Bussing Avenue and escaping in an unknown direction.
The investigation remains ongoing, and no arrests have been announced.
