Search underway for missing Newark teen last seen on Dayton Place
Newark, NJ — A 17-year-old girl reported missing earlier this month is the focus of an ongoing search as officials ask for the public’s help in locating her.
Naomy Hernandez-Guillen was last seen Friday, April 10, in the 100 block of Dayton Place, according to the Newark Department of Public Safety. She is described as Hispanic, 5 feet 4 inches tall, weighing approximately 120 pounds, with brown eyes and black hair. Authorities noted she has a heart-shaped tattoo on the left side of her chest.
Officials say Hernandez-Guillen is known to frequent areas including Elizabeth, Clark, and Rahway and may be traveling with two other individuals, a 17-year-old and a 20-year-old.
Police have not released additional details about the circumstances of her disappearance. The case remains under investigation.
