GLEN BURNIE, MD – Officers arrested multiple suspects involved in an assault and controlled substance violation that escalated across two residences. The assault, involving a metal bat and a replica handgun, started at a Hardmoore Court residence and continued at a Gatewood Court address.

The incident occurred on September 26 at around 3:45 p.m., where a 31-year-old male and a 27-year-old female were assaulted and threatened with a handgun at a house on the 400 block of Hardmoore Court. The victims fled to a residence on Gatewood Court. One of the assailants followed the victims and continued the assault, which also involved a 13-year-old female at the Gatewood Court location.

Responding officers located and apprehended one suspect at the Gatewood Court residence. A search warrant executed at the Hardmoore Court residence led to the arrest of two other suspects and the seizure of evidence including a metal bat and a replica handgun. Additionally, 34 syringes of suspected Morphine, scales, containers with a residue of suspected cocaine, and bottles of suspected Morphine Sulfate and Tramadol Hydrochloride were seized.

All suspects have been charged accordingly. The investigation is ongoing.
