NEWARK, N.J. — Authorities are asking for assistance in identifying two women accused of a theft of services at a Newark restaurant on Saturday night, according to the Newark Department of Public Safety.

The incident occurred on November 23 at around 7 p.m. at a restaurant on Patterson Street near Wall Street. Police say the suspects ordered $106 worth of food and beverages but left the establishment after paying only $50.

Investigators have released images of the two suspects, described as Black females, in hopes that someone in the community will recognize them.
