Baltimore, MD — A 59-year-old man has been arrested in connection with a bank robbery that took place in the city’s Eastern District on October 31, after officers tracked him down using a suspect description provided by bank employees.

The robbery occurred in the unit block of East 25th Street, where police say the suspect entered the bank and handed a note to a teller demanding money. The teller complied, handing over an undisclosed amount of U.S. currency before the suspect fled the scene on foot.

Following the robbery, officers obtained a detailed description of the suspect and launched an investigation. On Monday, November 3, officers located and arrested Dante Miller, who was identified as the man behind the robbery.

Police confirmed that Miller is a repeat violent offender. He was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Central Booking Intake Facility. He has been formally charged in connection with the robbery.

No injuries were reported during the incident. The amount of cash stolen was not disclosed.
