NEW YORK – Lottery luck strikes thrice with third-prize Powerball tickets sold across New York.
The New York Lottery has confirmed the sale of three third-prize-winning Powerball tickets in the November 6 drawing. Lucky winners emerged from three locations, each securing a prize of $50,000.
The fortunate retail points include Your Discount Store in the Bronx, a 7-Eleven in Coram, and Smoke & Beer in Manhattan, all of which sold one winning ticket each.
Players select numbers from two sets, with the white balls ranging from one to 69 and the red Powerball from one to 26. Powerball drawings occur thrice a week and are broadcast at 10:59 p.m. every Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday.
