BRONX, NY — An off-duty New York City employee was arrested early Friday morning in the Bronx’s 42nd Precinct. Shakema Sumter, a 41-year-old NYPD School Crossing Guard, was taken into custody at 2:16 AM.
Sumter faces a charge of third-degree criminal mischief. Further details regarding the circumstances leading to the arrest have not been disclosed.
