Winning ticket sold in Toms River
TOMS RIVER, N.J. — One New Jersey Lottery ticket is worth $232K after matching all five numbers in Sunday’s Jersey Cash 5 drawing, with the jackpot-winning ticket sold at a Walmart in Ocean County.
The New Jersey Lottery said the winning ticket for the Aug. 9 drawing was purchased at Walmart #1844, located at 950 Route 37 W in Toms River.
The jackpot-winning ticket is worth $232,298.
The winning numbers were 1, 12, 13, 25 and 29. The Bullseye number was 13, and the XTRA number was 2.
The Walmart location will receive a $2,000 bonus for selling the jackpot-winning ticket.
In addition to the jackpot winner, 13 players matched four of the five numbers plus the Bullseye to win $500 each. Three of those winners multiplied their prizes to $1,000 by purchasing the XTRA option.
The Jersey Cash 5 jackpot has reset to $150,000 for the next drawing.
