Ohio drawing delivers rare double win worth $482K

Double hit splits soaring $482K jackpot between two Ohio players

Cleveland, OH — Two lottery players beat the odds in the same drawing, splitting a $482,000 Rolling Cash 5 jackpot and each walking away with a $241,000 prize.

Ohio Lottery officials said the winning numbers for the April 2 drawing were 15, 25, 26, 27, and 29. The winners, identified as Kelley from Toledo and a woman from Wakeman, each matched all five numbers to claim equal shares of the jackpot.

After state and federal taxes totaling 26.75%, each winner received $176,532.50.

The winning tickets were sold at Piggy’s Main Street Market, located at 136 East Main Street in Amherst, and at Kroger store #617 at 4633 Suder Avenue in Toledo.

According to the Ohio Lottery, the odds of winning the Rolling Cash 5 jackpot are 1 in 575,757. The $482,000 prize marked the largest jackpot for the game so far this year.

Rolling Cash 5 jackpots begin at $100,000 and increase with each drawing until a winning ticket is sold. Drawings are held daily at approximately 7:05 p.m.

Lottery proceeds continue to support education, with the Ohio Lottery contributing more than $34 billion statewide since 1974.
