Cleveland man wins $20,000 on VIP Millions scratch-off ticket
CLEVELAND, OH – A Cleveland resident scored a $20,000 payday after playing the Ohio Lottery’s $50 VIP Millions scratch-off, Lottery officials announced Thursday.
The winning ticket was purchased at Circle K #5664, located at 20220 Lorain Road in Fairview Park. After mandatory state and federal tax withholdings totaling 27.125%, the winner will take home $14,575.
VIP Millions is one of the Ohio Lottery’s high-stakes instant games, offering a top prize of $40,000 a year for 25 years. As of December 3, there are still 19 of those top prizes remaining in circulation.
The Ohio Lottery continues to support public education across the state, having contributed more than $34 billion since 1974.
