Warren County player wins $150K Powerball prize with online ticket as jackpot tops $640M
MIDDLETOWN, PA – A lucky player in Warren County scored a $150,000 win in Monday night’s Powerball® drawing after purchasing a ticket online using the Power Play® option, according to the Pennsylvania Lottery.
The winning ticket matched four of the five white balls—15, 46, 61, 63, 64—and the red Powerball® 1. Normally worth $50,000, the ticket tripled in value to $150,000 thanks to the $1 Power Play® add-on. The Power Play® multiplier drawn was three.
The identity of the winner has not been released, as prizes must be claimed and tickets validated before winners are announced. Players have one year from the drawing date to claim prizes. For online players, winnings are automatically credited to their lottery account after processing.
The August 18 drawing produced more than 44,900 winning tickets across Pennsylvania, including over 9,700 tickets with Power Play® and more than 5,800 tickets with Double Play®.
This comes as the Powerball® jackpot rolls to an estimated $643 million annuity value, or $290.6 million in cash, for the next drawing on Wednesday. It is the largest Powerball® jackpot in more than a year.
Powerball® tickets can be purchased at lottery retailers or online through the Pennsylvania Lottery’s official website or mobile app.
