Two arrested after repeated burglaries hit Delaware farm
HARRINGTON, Del. — Two Delaware residents have been arrested in connection with a series of farm burglaries that caused tens of thousands of dollars in damage, state police said.
Ronald Keiser, 41, and Heather Crane, 42, both of Hartly, were taken into custody following an investigation into multiple break-ins at a property on Woodyard Road.
Troopers said the first incident occurred on November 17, 2025, when suspects broke into a barn and chicken house, cutting copper wiring and stealing equipment, causing an estimated $80,000 in damage.
A second burglary was reported on March 14, 2026, at the same location, where additional items were taken, including an all-terrain vehicle.
Investigators said the case took a turn when the victim later spotted the stolen ATV listed for sale on social media.
Detectives identified Keiser and Crane as the individuals selling the vehicle and obtained a search warrant for their home in Hartly.
On March 20, officers executed the warrant and recovered multiple stolen items tied to the burglaries. Authorities said further investigation linked Crane to both incidents.
Both suspects were arrested and charged with multiple felony offenses, including burglary, theft and conspiracy. They were later released on their own recognizance.
