PHILADELPHIA, Pa. — Police are investigating a fatal hit-and-run that occurred early Saturday morning in Southwest Philadelphia. The incident, which involved a verbal altercation and a vehicle, left a 28-year-old man dead.

At approximately 3:20 a.m. on Sept. 15, officers from the 12th District responded to a call about an auto accident near the intersection of 61st Street and Passyunk Avenue. Upon arriving, officers found an unconscious man lying on the roadway.
