Gunfire rips through Cambridge street leaving cars damaged and shell casings scattered
CAMBRIDGE, MD – A quiet neighborhood was jolted awake early Sunday after multiple gunshots rang out, leaving several vehicles damaged and police searching for whoever pulled the trigger.
At approximately 1:35 a.m., Cambridge Police officers responded to the 800 block of Noble Street after a ShotSpotter alert detected multiple rounds fired in the area. When officers arrived, they discovered several spent 9mm shell casings scattered on the ground.
Police also found four vehicles that had been struck by gunfire. No injuries were reported at the scene, and no suspects were immediately identified.
The incident remains under active investigation as detectives work to determine who was responsible and what led up to the shooting. Officers are asking for help from the public as they continue to gather information.
