Stolen French Bulldog Sparks Major Search in Southeast D.C.

WASHINGTON, DC—The D.C. Metro Police Department has issued a plea for community assistance in the search for a stolen dog named “Yurman” and the identification of a robbery suspect.

On Saturday at about 8:02 p.m., while walking her 2-year-old male French Bulldog in the 1700 block of Fort Davis Street, Southeast, a victim was approached by an armed suspect who subsequently fled with the dog in a vehicle.

The incident, captured by surveillance cameras, shows both the suspect and the vehicle involved.

Anyone with information regarding the suspect or the incident is urged to contact the police at (202) 727-9099 or send a text to the Department’s TEXT TIP LINE at 50411.

The D.C. Metro Police Department is offering a reward of up to $10,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the perpetrator responsible for this or any other crime committed in the District of Columbia.
