West Cape May Strawberry Festival Returns

One of South Jersey’s most popular seasonal events returns Saturday with the annual West Cape May Strawberry Festival. Visitors can browse artisan vendors offering handmade crafts, artwork, jewelry, antiques, baked goods, local honey and more.

Of course, strawberries remain the star attraction, with plenty of strawberry-themed treats available throughout the day at Wilbraham Park.

Pride Celebrations Planned Across New Jersey

Communities throughout the Garden State will celebrate Pride Month with festivals, parades and family-friendly gatherings.

Events include Phillipsburg Pride Celebration, Fort Lee Pride, South Bergen Pridefest in Rutherford, Pequannock Pride Fest, Barnegat Pride’s First Annual Pride Festival, Pride in the Park in Red Bank and Tenafly Pride Day.

Many of the celebrations will feature live entertainment, food vendors, community organizations, arts and crafts, family activities and Pride flag ceremonies.

Street Fairs and Festivals Draw Crowds

Several large street fairs are expected to attract thousands of visitors Saturday.

The Annual Westfield Street Fair & Craft Show will feature artists, vendors, food, games and live entertainment throughout downtown Westfield. In Essex County, the West Orange Street Fair will offer food vendors, a classic car show, street performers, a beer and wine garden and free admission to the Thomas Edison Museum.

Meanwhile, Somerset’s Rose Day Festival will combine live music, food trucks and artisan vendors with the beauty of the Rudolf W. van der Goot Rose Garden.

Family-Friendly Activities Across the State

Families looking for hands-on fun can head to Passaic County Technical Institute in Wayne for Touch a Truck, featuring more than 30 vehicles, bounce houses, giveaways, food trucks and live entertainment.

Animal lovers can visit Barkfest at Turkey Brook Park in Mount Olive, where leashed dogs are welcome for a day of shopping, pet adoptions, raffles and entertainment.

Book enthusiasts can spend the day at the Passaic County Book Festival in Clifton, featuring author discussions, poetry sessions, children’s activities and opportunities to meet writers.

Garden Tours and Cultural Events

The annual Keyport GardenWalk returns this weekend, inviting visitors to explore public and private gardens throughout the borough. The event showcases colorful landscapes, waterfront rain gardens, educational exhibits, art and music.

In Central Jersey, the Mercer County Cultural Festival and Food Truck Rally will celebrate diverse cultures through music, dance, traditional art demonstrations and cuisine from food vendors representing communities from around the world.
