Pittsburgh Police Apprehend Suspect Wanted on Multiple Felony Warrants

**Pittsburgh, PA** – On Wednesday, Pittsburgh Police’s Fugitive Apprehension Unit, assisted by the U.S. Marshals Western Pennsylvania Fugitive Task Force, arrested 24-year-old Melik Johnson of Pittsburgh. He was detained on multiple felony warrants, including one related to a firearm robbery on August 7 in the 7500 block of Mulford Street.

Johnson faces charges including Robbery, Criminal Conspiracy, Theft by Unlawful Taking, and Possessing Instruments of a Crime. He is also tied to an incident on September 24 in the South Side Flats neighborhood involving a stolen vehicle.

During the September incident, police located the stolen vehicle but Johnson had fled. Officers recovered a firearm from the vehicle, resulting in additional charges for Johnson.

Related to this incident, Johnson is charged with Receiving Stolen Property, Carrying a Firearm without a License, and Fleeing from Police, among others. He was taken to Allegheny County Jail following his arrest.

**Newark, DE** – Delaware State Police have detained Unique Priestley, 26, of Newark, in connection with an armed robbery in January at the Four Seasons Tobacco Outlet.

On January 25 at approximately 10:35 a.m., authorities responded to the scene located at 638 Plaza Drive. A suspect, described as a black male, entered the establishment, confronted an employee with a knife, and took tobacco products. Before fleeing, the suspect physically struck the employee, though no injuries were reported.

The criminal investigation by Troop 2 Detectives led to the identification of Priestley as the offender. A warrant was subsequently issued for his arrest.

Detectives located and arrested Priestley Monday without incident. He was transported to Troop 2 and arraigned on a charge of Robbery 1st Degree. Priestley is currently held at Howard R. Young Correctional Institution on a $35,000 cash bond.

Columbus Police Conduct Investigation and Make Arrests in Shooting Case

**Columbus, OH** – On February 26, at approximately 4:36 p.m., police officers responded to a shooting in the 4100 block of Blakewell Lane. Upon arrival, they found 42-year-old Antwan Lewis and 31-year-old Harold Forrest III with gunshot wounds. Lewis was declared dead at the scene while Forrest was transported to a hospital but later pronounced dead.

On February 28, detectives charged 32-year-old Brandon Colbert with two counts of murder in connection with the incident. He was subsequently arrested on March 1.

By March 2, detectives also charged 33-year-old Abdou Seye with two counts of murder related to the case. On Sunday, Mr. Seye was found and arrested in Detroit, MI, by agents from SOFAST and the U.S. Marshals.

Columbus homicide detectives traveled to Detroit to conduct an interview with Mr. Seye. Presently, he is held in the Wayne County Jail, Michigan, awaiting extradition to Franklin County.

**SEVERN, MD** – On Tuesday, at approximately 7:00 p.m., a shooting was reported in the 8100 block of Meade Village Road, resulting in the deaths of two men. Police officers arriving on the scene found two adult males with apparent gunshot wounds and administered medical aid until the Fire Department arrived. Derrick Purcell Ahmad McDonald, 23, of Severn, Maryland, was declared deceased at the scene, while Mack Samuel Galloway III, 28, of Glen Burnie, Maryland, later died at the hospital. Another 26-year-old male was injured by a metal fragment and transported to a trauma center for non-life-threatening injuries.

Officers subsequently identified a vehicle near Pioneer Drive and Jacobs Road with two males believed to be involved in the shooting. The passenger had a gunshot wound and was taken to Bay View Hospital for treatment, while the driver was not injured.

Detectives from the Homicide Unit assumed responsibility for the investigation, and collected numerous items of evidentiary value from both the crime scene and the vehicle.
