Hoovler, who confirmed the plea agreement anticipates an 18-year prison sentence and five years of post-release supervision for Williams, with formal sentencing set for June 18.

Court documents and statements detailed the events of October 13, 2024, around 10:45 p.m. in Newburgh. Williams allegedly armed himself with several kitchen knives and fatally stabbed a man on West Parmenter Street. The Newburgh Police Department’s investigation subsequently identified Williams as the suspect, leading to his arrest.

Brooklyn Man Receives 18-Year Sentence for Manslaughter

**Brooklyn, NY -** A Bedford-Stuyvesant resident has been sentenced to 18 years of incarceration for the fatal shooting of a 48-year-old man at a house party in Bedford-Stuyvesant. The announcement was made by Brooklyn District Attorney Eric Gonzalez, who confirmed that both the defendant and a co-defendant pleaded guilty to first-degree manslaughter charges for the incident.
