**Newark, NJ** – The Newark Department of Public Safety is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying three suspects connected to a robbery that took place on October 27.

The incident occurred at approximately 1:55 a.m. on the 200 block of Park Avenue near 6th Street. A man waiting for a taxi was accosted by three individuals who stole his necklace, took $400 cash, and physically assaulted him before absconding northbound on North 6th Street.

Detectives have described the suspects as three Black males. Public Safety Director Emanuel Miranda has called for anyone with relevant information to reach out.

Victim robbed of $6,000 and iPhone as Newark police search for suspect

The Newark Department of Public Safety seeks assistance from the public to identify a man wanted for questioning in a robbery that took place on November 3. Newark Public Safety Director Emanuel Miranda has made this appeal in connection with the incident.

The robbery occurred around 3:30 a.m. on the 200 block of Park Avenue. The victim was in his vehicle when the suspect, armed with a handgun, approached and knocked on the driver’s side window. After the victim slightly opened the car door, the suspect forced it open and took $6,000 from the victim’s wallet.

The suspect also confiscated the victim’s iPhone after the victim managed to photograph the suspect’s vehicle, a beige Toyota Corolla with New Jersey registration U32RWY. Subsequently, the suspect fled the scene heading north on North 5th Street.

Director Miranda encourages anyone with information concerning the suspect’s identity to contact the Police Division’s 24-hour Crime Stopper tip line at 1-877-NWK-TIPS (1-877-695-8477). Tips can also be submitted anonymously via the Police Division’s website, with confidentiality assured and potential for a reward.

**Newark, NJ** – Newark Public Safety officials are seeking the public’s assistance to identify a suspect involved in a home invasion that took place on November 16. During the incident, the suspect pointed a gun at a victim.

The invasion occurred around 5:45 p.m. after the suspect and an accomplice tried to steal an electric bike from a home on Elm Street. The bike owners pursued the suspects and managed to reclaim the bicycle after a confrontation. While the owners reported the theft at the Franklin Street precinct, the suspects returned to the home and forced their way inside, targeting a basement tenant and demanding their phone before fleeing.

The primary suspect is described as a tall, slender, light-skinned male, wearing a black hoodie and dark pants. The second suspect has a dark complexion, brown hair, medium build, and wore a blue and white jacket with multi-colored pants.

Newark Man Arrested on Drug Charges Following Traffic Stop

**Wilmington, DE** – Delaware State Police have arrested Tavon White, 28, from Newark, Delaware on drug-related charges after a traffic stop in Wilmington on Thursday afternoon.

On Thursday, around 1:40 p.m., the New Castle County Governor’s Task Force observed a Jeep Patriot committing traffic violations on Governor Printz Boulevard near 35th Street. Officers conducted a traffic stop and identified the driver as Tavon White, who was the sole occupant. It was determined that White did not have a valid driver’s license, and he was asked to exit the vehicle.

Upon exiting, police conducted a consensual search of White, which led to the discovery of 57 baggies containing approximately 1.71 grams of heroin, as well as $1,504 in suspected drug proceeds. White was subsequently arrested without incident.

White was taken to Troop 1 where he faced various charges. He was arraigned by Justice of the Peace Court 11 and later committed to Howard R. Young Correctional Institution with a cash bond of $3,150. Charges include possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance and driving with a suspended license.

Suspect in Newark Pharmacy Burglary Arrested, Others At Large

**Newark, DE** – The Delaware State Police have arrested Janine McAlonan, 39, from Perkiomenville, Pennsylvania, in connection with a burglary at a Newark area pharmacy. Two accomplices, Christopher Welch, 42, and another unidentified individual, remain at large.

Troopers responded to a burglary report on October 26 at approximately 3:00 a.m. at Saveway Compound Pharmacy on Albe Drive. Two suspects forcibly entered the pharmacy, stealing a safe containing cash and controlled substances worth several thousand dollars, which they placed into a dark-colored SUV provided by an unidentified driver who fled the scene.

Investigations, in collaboration with other law enforcement agencies, identified Welch and McAlonan as suspects in this and similar incidents in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. Warrants for burglary and related charges have been issued, though the third suspect remains unidentified without a description available.

On Monday, McAlonan surrendered to police at Troop 1, facing multiple felony charges including burglary and theft, and was released on an $11,000 unsecured bond after arraignment. Welch is still wanted, with the Delaware State Police urging those with information on his
