BALTIMORE, MD—Northeast District detectives’ proactive patrol in Baltimore led to the arrest of a 17-year-old male suspect for possession of a stolen vehicle and a firearm. The incident unfolded late yesterday afternoon at around 5:30 p.m. in the 6600 block of Harford Road.

Detectives, noticing the suspect exhibiting signs of being armed, requested aerial support as he entered the stolen vehicle. The chase extended into Baltimore County, where the suspect attempted to escape on foot in the 2500 block of Hillford Road but was apprehended by officers.

The teenager, charged as an adult, has been taken to CBIF for processing following the recovery of the firearm during his arrest.
