The Futuro House is a fascinating piece of 1960s design, crafted by Finnish architect Matti Suuronen.
Originally conceived as a portable ski chalet, its sleek, saucer-like structure is made from fiberglass and is reminiscent of a space-age dream. One of only a few hundred ever produced, the Milton Futuro has served various purposes over the years. At one point, it was even used as an office for a local aerial spraying business.
It sat vacant for almost two decades before undergoing restoration in the 1990s. Today, this unusual structure continues to stand out at the Eagle Crest Aerodrome, offering a rare glimpse into the future as envisioned during the mid-20th century.
