Three Immigration Dodging Criminal Aliens Arrested in Virginia

STERLING, Va. — U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), with assistance from the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), arrested three illegal immigrants during a targeted enforcement operation in Sterling on Feb. 19.

The individuals taken into custody included a 49-year-old Salvadoran national who had previously been deported to El Salvador in 2003 but re-entered the U.S. illegally. A 34-year-old Honduran national and a 36-year-old Salvadoran national were also arrested, both of whom had been ordered removed by immigration judges in 2024 and 2006, respectively.

“These three fugitives were illegally present in the Northern Virginia area in violation of U.S. immigration laws,” said ICE Enforcement and Removal Operations Washington, D.C. Field Office Director Russ Hott. “ICE Washington, D.C.’s mission is to ensure the safety and security of our District of Columbia and Virginia communities.”

ICE stated that all three individuals will remain in custody pending removal proceedings.
