Middletown, Pa. — The Pennsylvania Lottery is urging players to check their tickets as three winning Powerball® tickets, totaling $1.25 million, are nearing expiration. These tickets were sold at retailers in Philadelphia, Lehigh, and Allegheny counties and are tied to historic Powerball® jackpot runs from October 2023.
The first unclaimed ticket, worth $1 million, was sold at United Food Market, 500 East Walnut Lane in Philadelphia. This ticket, from the drawing on Wednesday, October 4, 2023, matched five white balls—9, 35, 54, 63, and 64. The deadline to claim this prize is Friday, October 4, 2024.
Another ticket, worth $100,000, was sold at Rite Aid, 209 Atwood St. in Pittsburgh, Allegheny County, for the same October 4, 2023, drawing. This ticket matched four white balls and the red Powerball® number 1, with a Power Play® multiplier of two. This ticket must also be claimed by October 4, 2024.
The third unclaimed ticket, worth $150,000, was sold at Blose’s Market, 7070 Route 309 in New Tripoli, Lehigh County. This ticket, from the drawing on Monday, October 9, 2023, matched four white balls—16, 34, 46, 55, and 67—and the red Powerball® number 14, with a Power Play® multiplier of three. The deadline to claim this prize is Wednesday, October 9, 2024.
The Pennsylvania Lottery reminds players to sign the back of their tickets and file a claim at a Lottery Area Office or by mail before the expiration dates. By law, unclaimed prizes in Pennsylvania are retained in the Lottery Fund to support programs for older residents.
