Toms River Resident Named Ms. New Jersey Senior America

TOMS RIVER, NJ – During Wednesday’s Council Meeting, the township presented Bettyjean Pace, a longtime resident of Toms River, a Proclamation for winning the title of Ms. New Jersey Senior America 2022.

Since 1971, the Ms. New Jersey Senior America pageant has provided a platform to empower and encourage women, 60 and older, who best exemplify the dignity, maturity and inner beauty of all Senior Americans. Ten contestants competed in the 2022 Ms. New Jersey Senior America pageant at Harrah’s Resort Hotel & Casino in Atlantic City in June.

As Queen, Bettyjean will travel around the State promoting the positive aspects of aging. She also becomes the featured performer in NJ Cameo Club Showcases that entertain at 55 and over communities, veterans’ hospitals, assisted living facilities and nursing homes.
