Toms River Snow Forecast as Mayor Mo Hill interviews with NBC ahead of blizzard

TOMS RIVER, NJ – As Toms River prepares for an impending snowstorm, Mayor Maurice “Mo” Hill took time to be interviewed by Brian Thompson from NBC Channel 4 in New York, according to Hill’s confidential secretary Art Gallagher.

Gallagher said, “Brian Thompson NBC NY stopped by this morning to report on the great work of our DPW team preparing for snowmageddon. Be prepared, stay safe and check out Mayor Hill’s interview on NBC.”

According to the National Weather Service, a blizzard warning remains in effect from 7pm tonight through 7pm Saturday. Total snow accumulations of 8 to 15 inches are expected. Winds are expected to be gusting as high as 50 mph. Travel could be very difficult to impossible. Areas of blowing snow could significantly reduce visibility. Gusty winds could bring down tree branches. Blizzard conditions are primarily expected at or within a few miles from the coast.
