Drug bust during traffic stop uncovers heroin cocaine and meth in Wall Township

WALL TOWNSHIP, N.J. — A routine traffic stop quickly escalated into a major drug arrest after officers uncovered multiple types of narcotics inside a vehicle.

The stop happened Thursday, March 26 along State Highway 34, where an investigation led to the discovery of suspected heroin, cocaine and methamphetamine.

Authorities said additional drug paraphernalia was also recovered during the encounter.

The driver, Bryan Bartholomew, 37, of Whiting, was taken into custody and charged with multiple drug offenses, including possession of controlled substances and failure to turn over drugs.

He was transported to the Monmouth County Correctional Institution following processing.

What began as a standard stop ended with a significant drug seizure involving multiple substances.
