BRONX, NY – Two Powerball players in New York matched four white balls and the red Power Ball in the Dec. 21 drawing, earning $50,000 each.

The winning tickets were sold at H & Q Lin, located at 626 Courtlandt Avenue in the Bronx, and Cards & Gifts, located at 2140 Middle Country Road in Centereach, Suffolk County.

The winning numbers for the Dec. 21 drawing were selected from a pool of one through 69 for the white balls and one through 26 for the red Power Ball. Powerball drawings take place every Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday at 10:59 p.m.

Powerball prizes can be claimed within one year of the drawing date, giving winners time to come forward and collect their prize.

The jackpot in the multi-state Powerball game continues to grow, with the next drawing offering a chance at $103 million.
