Newark, NJ – Early Monday morning, May 13, a Bloomfield police pursuit of a stolen vehicle led to two crashes involving police vehicles in Newark.
At 1:30 AM, officers pursued a black BMW X5, which eluded them through Bloomfield and into Newark.
During the pursuit, Bloomfield police were involved in two separate crashes in Newark, resulting in minor injuries to three officers and one civilian. The suspect vehicle continued to flee after the crashes involving the Bloomfield units.
The investigation is ongoing.
