TRENTON, NJ — Three New Jersey Lottery players claimed scratch-off prizes of at least $1 million last week, including one Union County resident who won the top prize in the state’s highest-paying game, $5,000,000 Fortune.
The winning $30 ticket was purchased at 7-Eleven #38719 located at 1171 Liberty Avenue in Hillside. It marks the first of three top prizes available in the $5,000,000 Fortune game. The winner initially believed the ticket held no value until scanning it and discovering it was a jackpot.
In addition to the Union County win, a Monmouth County player claimed $2 million on June 8 from the Millionaire Maker game. The $25 ticket was purchased at Lakeside Food Store, 41 Main Street in Matawan. It is the second of three top prizes awarded in that game.
Also on June 8, a Bergen County player won $1 million with a $1,000,000 Spectacular ticket bought at Shoprite Liquor, 220 West Passaic Street in Rochelle Park. That ticket marked the third and final top prize in the $10 scratch-off game.
$600K prize adds to winning week across New Jersey
Earlier in the week, on June 5, an Essex County player claimed $600,000—the top prize in the $30 Colossal Crossword game. The ticket was sold at 7-Eleven #36429, located at 60 Valley Street in South Orange. It was the first of three available top prizes for that game.
All four prize claims reflect a strong week for New Jersey scratch-off players, with millions awarded across multiple counties.
