Man clings to life after brutal Baltimore stabbing

BALTIMORE, MD — A man is in critical condition following a stabbing Thursday evening in Southwest Baltimore, and police are asking for the public’s help identifying the suspect captured in surveillance photos.

At approximately 7:01 p.m. on June 5, Southwest District patrol officers responded to the 2800 block of Edmondson Avenue for reports of a serious assault. Upon arrival, they located an adult male suffering from a life-threatening cut to his body.

The victim was transported to a nearby hospital and remains in critical condition.

Investigators have released photos of the suspect and are urging anyone who recognizes the individual or has information about the incident to come forward.

Public’s help sought as investigation continues

Detectives continue to investigate the motive and circumstances surrounding the stabbing. Anyone with information is asked to contact Southwest District detectives at 410-396-2100 or submit an anonymous tip to Metro Crime Stoppers at 1-866-7LOCKUP.

The suspect remains at large.
