NEW YORK, NY – In a violent encounter, a 23-year-old woman was punched in the face by an unidentified assailant, sustaining a nose injury. The attack took place in front of 541 Avenue of the Americas on Wednesday, March 20, at around 10:00 AM.
Emergency services transported the victim to Lenox Health Greenwich Village Hospital following the assault. The male assailant fled the scene on foot, heading southbound on 6 Avenue.
He is described as having a medium complexion and build, last seen dressed in a white t-shirt, brown pants, and a blue jacket.
