Man Shot Multiple Times In D.C.

WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Washington, D.C. Metro Police Department is investigating a shooting that happened late yesterday afternoon in Northeast, D.C. Police are asking for help identifying a suspect involved in the shooting.

Just after 5:30 pm, police arrived at the 1500 Block of Benning Road to investigate a report of a shooting. At the location police found an adult man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. The victim was brought to a nearby hospital. His injuries appear to be non-life-threatening. The identity of the victim has not been released at this time.

Nearby surveillance cameras captured the suspect. If you have any information about this shooting or recognize the suspect, please take no action but call the police at (202) 727-9099 or text your tip to the Department’s TEXT TIP LINE at 50411.
