Cambridge Man Arrested for Assault with Knife

CAMBRIDGE, MD – Curtis Matthew Smith, a 53-year-old Cambridge resident, was arrested last Thursday after allegedly threatening another person with a knife during an argument over money.

Smith was charged with assault in the first and second degrees and reckless endangerment. He was denied bond and turned over to the Dorchester County Department of Corrections.

No serious injuries were reported. The victim’s name was not identified.
