Driver Shot Causes Baltimore Car Crash

BALTIMORE, MARYLAND – The Baltimore Police Department is investigating the shooting of a 66-year-old man early this morning in Northwest Baltimore.

Just after 4:30 am, patrol officers from the Northwest District arrived at the 3700 Block of West Belvedere Avenue to investigate a shooting report. At the location, police found a vehicle that had collided with a tree. The victim was inside the car suffering from a gunshot wound.

The victim was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment. The identity and current condition of the victim are unknown at this time.
