Five Suspects Charged in Prince George’s County Armed Carjacking

PRINCE GEORGE’S COUNTY, MD – The Prince George’s County Police Department’s Carjacking Interdiction Unit has charged five suspects, including two juveniles, in connection with an armed carjacking that occurred in Suitland on Tuesday.

The stolen vehicle was spotted by the Washington Area Vehicle Enforcement Team in Lanham on April 27, and the five occupants were arrested. A loaded handgun reported stolen from Georgia was also recovered from the vehicle.

The two adult suspects, Qamar Comfort, 18, and Iriae Williams, 18, both from Washington, DC, are facing multiple charges, including armed carjacking and unauthorized use of a vehicle. The juvenile suspects are also facing various charges, including unauthorized use of a vehicle and firearms offenses.

So far this year, the PGPD has charged 29 adults and 44 juveniles in connection with carjackings.
