D.C. Shooting Leaves Man Injured

WASHINGTON, D.C.- The Washington, D.C. Metro Police Department’s detectives are reaching out to the public for help in identifying a vehicle linked to a shooting that took place at the 1400 Block of Brentwood Parkway in Northeast, D.C. on Monday afternoon.

Following a report of gunfire, officers were dispatched to the specified location shortly after 1:30 pm. Police found an adult male victim who had been shot. The injured individual was taken to a local hospital, where he received treatment for injuries that were assessed as not life-threatening.

Nearby surveillance cameras captured the suspect’s vehicle. If you have any information about this incident, please take no action but call the police at (202) 727-9099 or text your tip to the Department’s TEXT TIP LINE at 50411. The shooting remains under investigation.
