NEW YORK, NY – A couple was carjacked at gunpoint in the Bronx in April and police have released photos of the suspects wanted for the incident.

It was reported to the police that on Tuesday, April 4, at around 2:30 a.m., two unidentified male individuals approached a 22-year-old male victim who was sitting in his vehicle with a female passenger at the intersection of Boone Avenue and Freeman Street.

One of the individuals revealed a firearm, prompting the passenger to exit the vehicle. The suspects then entered the vehicle while still holding the firearm, forcing the victim to also exit the vehicle. The individuals subsequently fled the scene with the victim’s vehicle.

Fortunately, the victim’s vehicle was recovered a short time later in Fort George. It was found unoccupied. No injuries were reported as a result of this incident.

The individuals being sought in connection with this incident were described as males wearing ski masks.
