PRINCE GEORGE’S COUNTY, MD – The Homicide Unit of the Prince George’s County Police Department is investigating the fatal shooting of 37-year-old Demetric Martin of Oxon Hill.
The incident occurred on Saturday, at around 5:30 pm outside a hotel on 55 Hampton Park Boulevard in Capitol Heights.
On receiving a call regarding the shooting, officers found Martin suffering from gunshot wounds. He was immediately transported to a nearby hospital where he was declared deceased shortly after. The Homicide Unit is currently working to determine the circumstances surrounding the shooting and identify any suspects involved.
