Multiple Arrests Made in Allegany County Warrant Operation

ALLEGANY COUNTY, MD – The Allegany County Sheriff’s Office and Maryland State Police – Barrack C have joined forces to target open and active warrants. On Friday, several individuals were apprehended as a result.

Mark Allan Giddings, 50, of Frostburg, was arrested on two separate warrants. The first was a District Court Arrest Warrant for Violating Protective Order and Obstruction of Justice.

The second was a District Court Bench Warrant for Violating Pre-Trial Release. Giddings is currently being held without bond at the Allegany County Detention Center pending a bail review for additional charges.

Heather Renee Sager, 30, of Cumberland, was arrested on a District Court Warrant for Attempting to Alter a Urine Test and Obstruction of Justice. Sager is being held at the Allegany County Detention Center on a $2,500 bond, with 10% acceptable.

The Allegany County Sheriff’s Office and Maryland State Police – Barrack C continue to work together to enforce active warrants. Anyone with information related to these or other cases is asked to contact the Sheriff’s Office.
