Utica Man Killed in Boyce Avenue Shooting

UTICA, NY – A male victim was fatally shot on Boyce Ave, despite immediate transport to St. Elizabeth’s Hospital and attempts at life-saving measures.

The incident occurred just before 8:00 p.m. on September 29th. Utica Police and Fire units were dispatched to Boyce Ave following reports of a shooting. The victim was rushed to St. Elizabeth’s Hospital where all efforts were made to save his life. Unfortunately, the victim did not survive.

The Utica Police Department Major Crimes Unit has taken charge of the investigation. Officers are currently on the scene, conducting a canvas for witnesses and surveillance footage.
