The win also keeps the coveted Don Connor Cup in the showcase at Memorial where it has been for all but one season.
The first quarter saw Jackson Memorial take an early lead, scoring a touchdown to make it 7-0. Jackson Liberty managed to get on the board in the second quarter with a field goal, but that would be the extent of their scoring. The first half ended with a modest 7-3 lead for Jackson Memorial.
Jackson Memorial returned from halftime with renewed energy, adding 14 points in the third quarter to widen the gap. The team continued its onslaught into the fourth quarter, tacking on another 13 points to bring the final score to 34-3.
Jonah Glenn was the standout player for Jackson Memorial, amassing an impressive 242 rushing yards. Quarterbacks Elijah Coffman and Dennis Caswell combined for 123 passing yards, with Coffman contributing 65 yards and Caswell adding 58 yards and a touchdown. Eric Zebrowski led in receiving yardage with 43 yards.
