Double Shooting at Crown Heights Luxury Rental Building

CROWN HEIGHTS, NY – Police are on the lookout for a gunman after a man and woman were shot at the Arch building on President Street by Rogers Avenue.

The incident occurred on Monday morning shortly after 8 a.m. A 26-year-old woman and a 30-year-old man were injured and transported to Kings County Hospital, where their conditions are stable.

Residents of the building expressed their shock and concern.

Lucia Chen, a resident, recounted her experience, noting she typically felt safe in the building.

The suspect, a 28-year-old man donning a yellow sweatshirt, fled the scene. Investigators speculate that the incident may be connected to a love triangle and are currently searching for an ex-boyfriend.
