PARSIPPANY, NJ – In the Powdermill section of the township, an attempted burglary was reported during the early morning hours.

An unidentified suspect attempted to break into a vehicle and access a backyard, thwarted by a fence.

Residents are asked to secure all doors and windows, especially during night hours. The Mayor’s office has released a Home Security Self-Assessment booklet. It offers a guidance on protecting one’s home against such incidents.
