CINNAMINSON, NJ – On Monday morning, the Cinnaminson Township Police Department dealt with a domestic violence assault on the 300 unit block of Parry Road, where reports also indicated a possible gunshot.

The female victim managed to escape and alert authorities, leading to the establishment of a secure perimeter by responding officers.

After a standoff beginning at 3:49 am, Kevin G. Konieczny, 52, eventually surrendered without further incident at approximately 6:42 am.

Konieczny, from the same block, has been charged with second-degree domestic violence strangulation and is currently detained at Burlington County Jail pending a detention hearing.

The Burlington County Prosecutor’s Office and the New Jersey State Police Teams Unit also contributed to the resolution of the incident.
