Burlington Police Investigating Illegal Dumping in Residential Neighborhood

BURLINGTON, NJ – The Burlington Police Department is investigating an incident of illegal dumping that occurred on the evening of Sunday, December 10, 2023. A significant quantity of trash and debris was discovered on Linden Avenue and Darrs Alley, prompting a call for community assistance in identifying the responsible party.

In a lighthearted appeal, the department expressed their intent to “reunite the owner with their belongings,” underscoring the seriousness of illegal dumping offenses. The department is seeking any information that could lead to identifying those responsible for this act.

The police are particularly interested in footage from residential security systems, such as Ring cameras, that may have captured the incident. Community members who may have relevant information or video evidence are encouraged to contact Corporal Mercuri at [email protected].
